Wayne Wald is ashareholder in the New York City office of Akerman Senterfitt LLP, a national law firm with more than 525 attorneys in 18 offices accross the country. Mr. Wald focuses his practice in corporate and securities law, particularly capital formation and merger and acquisition transactions. He represents public and private companies, including private equity sponsor owned or controlled companies, with respect to all aspects of their business, including corporate governance issues, SEC matters and compliance, and other ongoing and transactional corporate and securities matters. In addition, Wayne advises both buyers and sellers, and boards of directors, in connection with merger and acquisition transactions.

Wayne represents issuers, underwriters, placement agents, lenders and borrowers in public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, including IPOs, 144A high yield debt offerings, loan transactions and PIPES transactions, and in private equity and venture capital related financings.
