Head Music Director @ Montreal's CJLO 1690AM, Omar is a seasoned broadcaster/interviewer with considerable experience in community radio. Co-founder of Medium Rotation, a networking & community soundboard for the campus radio community, Omar has spoken on panels at CMJ and NXNE & was invited to represent Canada with his CJLO radio show "Hooked on Sonics" at the International Radio Festival in Zurich. He is a graduate of Concordia’s John Molson School of Business and completed his CPA in New Hampshire, Omar is an accountant by day, manages a few bands by night, and also plays guitar in a drone/shoegaze band. Omar enjoys chocolate chip cookies, milkshakes, buddy cop movies and loud guitars. He is also a nice guy and misses the 90s.
